It’s a mishmash mix tapey podcast of music from all around the world. This episode features everything from a Scandinavian swing band singing in Latin to a hard-rocking Los Angeles indie band. For those who like music that reaches out and grabs you, this is the creme de la creme of this week’s listening, all packaged up into a neat show.
For those who love what they hear and want to know more, show notes with the band info and links to where you can get this great music for your own are after the break!

This post was mentioned on Twitter by hungrylucy: Thanks @Krystalle for playing “Hill” on Radioactive State. http://radioactivestate.com/2010/04/episode-5-all-around-the-world/...
Your podcast made for an enjoyable trip to the grocery store. Enjoyable for me, probably not so much for the people I freaked out by dancing while I shopped.
Thanks for the nudge! I never really need to use that link, so it didn’t occur to me it was gone. Oops.
When I made the switch off of the podpress plugin, it stripped all the extra HTML since that was part of the plugin. The problem is that the old plugin created a malformed feed, so Apple wouldn’t accept the podcast in the iTunes store. Thus, the new plugin that doesn’t automatically generate the download link.
I’ve made sure to add a download link to this week’s show and will make sure to do so going forward (and backwards) as well.
